8kg Collie puppy eat 100g milk chocolate 3-4 hrs ago. Everything fine except frequent urinating. Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 19 days old | 17 lbs

Shepherd is experiencing a mild reaction to eating this chocolate. Based on the amount he ate, this is an expected reaction to his ingestion. You may also see vomiting, diarrhea, shaking, and elevated heart rate. Because he is only expected to have a mild reaction, you can continue to monitor him. It can take a couple of days for the symptoms to resolve. Should you see any vomiting or diarrhea, you can try a home remedy to help him. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. I hope this helps!
