My Pomeranian is weak, not eating, and burping. Is it his stomach?

My Pomeranian seems to be weak ad somewhat tired i think it might be a stomach thing no vomiting but a lot of burping he hasnt eaten anything today i dont know whats wrong. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | 2 years and 10 months old | 10 lbs

Poor Koda! You are certainly right that he could have stomach upset causing his anorexia and burping. It could be a GI illness leading to his symptoms. I would allow him to not eat tonight, and then tomorrow morning try offering him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he still refuses to eat the bland diet in the morning, then I would have him seen by a vet for a health check.
