A greetings to your good office. Hi,im just wondering why my 4 month old puppy is moving his mouth and at the same time lifting his right hind leg during his sleep. He is kinda wobbly too.It was gone recently but I observed it back after I bathed him. What would be the problem? Wht should I do? Thank you. God bless!

If Browny is only doing this movement when he is sleeping, then it likely is in response to dreams that he is having. Dogs dream, and they can twitch and move their mouth while they are having their dreams. I've seen one of my dogs bark in her sleep and move her legs like she is chasing something. As for being wobbly, that could be can be an early sign of spinal cord disease, due to an ear infection, or a drop in blood glucose from not eating. I would monitor Browny for now, and if you do notice more episodes of him being wobbly, then I would have him seen by a vet for a health check.
