My old stray cat has missing fur & sores. How can I treat him?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 14 years and 2 months old | 11 lbs

A stray cat I been feeding for 10 years. this winter has missing fur and cluster of sores on his back end also missing fur on top of his tail I healed the sores but now there another score above it. but now he won't come to me so I can't take him to the vet. he is now 14 yrs old first time I have this problem.

Consider purchasing or borrowing a Havahart trap to catch Parker so that you can take him into your local vet. The sores and missing fur that you describe may be due to a flea infestation, flea allergy, or skin infection. Unfortunately, there isn't much that you can treat or diagnose without being able to touch Parker.
