Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 years and 2 months old | 10 lbs
My indoor cat has been acting scared (walking low to the ground, poofed fur, skittish, hiding, etc.) for 24 hours straight. We cannot identify any precipitator. Should I see a vet?

That is strange that Bowser is suddenly acting scared! Given that it has been going on for 24 hours straight, I do think a visit to the vet is a good idea. Sometimes, a sudden change in behavior can be caused by a medical illness, and it's always a good idea to have a health check to rule that in or out.

Your question was cut off but I can tell you that anytime there is an unexplained change in behavior in a pet, it should be examined by a veterinarian. Illness or injury can cause sudden behavioral changes and it is important to correctly diagnose the issue so the appropriate treatment can be administered. I hope Vid is feeling better and has worked through whatever caused his behavior. If not, have him seen by your vet.
