What a tough situation for you to be in with Charlie! In my opinion, I think having the operation should be the priority. If one of those lumps is cancerous, the sooner it is removed the better. You don't want to leave it and it has the chance to spread. Allergies can be managed with medication, and while blood tests are important, in this case the suspicious lump is more important. I can give you some resources that may help you afford both the operation and the blood tests. You can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Carefree Credit online. http://www.carefreecredit.co.uk https://www.rspca.org.uk/whatwedo/vetcare http://www.easipetcare.com I hope this helps you! Good luck with Charlie, how awful for you to have to face this so soon after adopting him.
