My dog swallowed his prescribed tongue ulcer gel. Is it safe?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 3 months old

Vet order me gel tube to put on Danny ulcer on tongue sore this include composition CHOLINE SALICYLATE SILUTIO B.P. EQUIVALENT TO CHOLINE SALICYLATE 8.7% w/w , LIGNOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE I.P. 2% w/w , Preservative : BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION I.P. 0.01% w/w , PLEASANT FLAVOURED BASE q.s. (Spearmint & Fennel) , GLYCERINE But what is I put this gel tube cream on his sore and he swallows it hen will it going to cause something like seizures or anything bigger than that ?

It's safe to give Danny this medication. Because it is used topically in his mouth, it is expected that some of it may be swallowed during treatment and the vet wouldn't prescribe it if it could cause seizures from ingestion. I would use this medication as prescribe by your vet, Danny will be ok :-)
