My cat swallowed a hair tie. What should I watch for and how to help?

Hello my cat accidentally swallowed a hairtie no metal, about 15 hours ago. She is acting normal and has been eating drinking and using the bathroom just peeing running around all day fine..wondering what I should be looking out for or what to do to help her go to the bathroom

I would keep an eye on her for now. If she starts acting lethargic, vomiting, having diarrhea, becomes anorexic, or doesn't pass any feces at all, then I would take her into the vet immediately. Hopefully, this hair tie will pass without problem, but you can give her a teaspoon of canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) to add more fiber to her diet to see if that helps her pass feces. I hope this helps!
