My dog is not eating his food he will go to the bowl look at it and walk away the same with the water. What can I do?

If his only symptom is inappetence, I would keep an eye on him and not offer food for 24 hours. He can have water. That way, if something has upset his stomach, it will have time to rest and recover. If he has any other symptoms, diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, fever, get him in to be seen by a vet right away as this may be signs or a more serious problem.

Hello. I am so sorry for your concerns about Stanley not eating. If Stanley refuses all foods, including treats & special offerings for another 24 hours, it will be important to have his seen by your veterinarian. If he should start vomiting, then I recommend having him seen sooner. You need to rule out all possibilities that may be causing his loss of appetite, including infections, parasites, obstructions, neoplasia & metabolic or endocrine issues.
