My dog swallowed 1 pill of Vitamin B12(Vitamelts) 1500mcg. What should I do?

B12 isn't likely to make your dog sick, but you can call your vet to make sure. If you have doubts, I suggest calling a pet poison helpline, such as this one: http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/contact/ If it has been less than 2 hours since your pet ate it, you can induce vomiting by giving an oral dose of hydrogen peroxide, about 1 cc per pound. One tablespoon is about 5 cc. A turkey baster will work if you don't have a syringe. Longer than two hours and it will have already moved into the intestines.
