My cat licked Pet Armor Plus. Is her drooling and foaming normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 8 months old

I gave my cat pet armor plus. She licked it and began to drool from the mouth and foam. Will she be okay, I don't know since it wasn't frontline plus.

Pet Armor is the same active ingredient as Frontline. As long as you applied the correct cat product your cat should be fine. The product is very bitter and nasty tasting, that's why she drooled. To prevent this in the future, be careful to apply the product high on the back of your cat's head and neck only. Watch your cat for signs of illness just to be safe.

It has the same ingredients as frontline so she should be ok, if it was the tablet then she started drooling as a result of it's bad taste, but this is very common with cats when they don't like something and are forced to take it.
