My cat poops every 3 days with hair. Is this normal or constipation?

My cat is not pooping regularly, when she does poop (once every 3 days), is she constipated? When she does poop there is hair in it.

Some cats do not defecate every day. Pooping every other day or every 3 days can be normal as long as the cat doesn't struggle to pass stools and doesn't have any gastro-intestinal problems like vomiting, lack of appetite etc. Also, hair in poo is fairly normal, particularily in long hair cats. You can get a paste for her at your vets or a pet shop to avoid hair balls.

    Sounds like hairball. you need to buy a hairball paste, give it to her every day for a week then 1-2 times a week regularly, hopefully it will be enough to solve the problem.
