Why are other cats nursing or caring for my new kittens?

Pet's info: Cat | Egyptian Mau | 11 months and 28 days old

My cat just gave birth, and her sisters all with the kitten and feed them as if they are their mother.!? Is this a normal act from them?.

Yes, it can be completely normal. In fact, in feral cat colonies, it is common for another female to nurse other kittens if the mother cat is away for too long and the kittens are crying.

    Do not worry, this behavior is completely normal for mana cats. Some nursing mothers will not tolerate nursing other kittens but some do. As long as she has enough milk for everyone there is no need to worry. Make sure you are offering her plenty of food to keep her energy and milk supply up. I hope this helps.
