It might related to the rabies shot but it might also be a coincidence. as it's been a week now i would advise taking her to the vet, she will require medical treatment in order to make the diarrhea stop.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Buster Young. He will need to see his veterinarian again if the diarrhea continues as he will become dehydrated even though he is drinking. He will likely need a deworming medication or antibiotic based on the results of fecal testing. If he is acting like himself, it is generally safe to withhold food for 24 hours in a large dog. This will rest the gastrointestinal tract and can potentially resolve the diarrhea. If this does not help him, then he will need to be seen again. I hope this information helps!

Poor Sugar! There are a couple of things you can try at home to help. First, if she hasn't been dewormed recently, this is the first thing I would do - intestinal parasites are a very common cause of persistent diarrhea in puppies. You can get a broad-spectrum dewormer labeled for dogs, such as Panacur, and give it according to label directions for her weight. You can also try withholding food for the next 12 hours to give her stomach a chance to settle, then feed a bland diet of plain boiled chicken and rice for the next 2-3 days. If this doesn't help, then she will need to be seen by a vet for some diagnostic testing to figure out what is causing the diarrhea.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Tessie. As long as she is normal otherwise, this is likely a mild reaction to the vaccine. If she develops vomiting, facial swelling or difficulty breathing, then these are signs of a serious reaction. In this case, you would need to seek immediate emergency care. Of course, diarrhea can develop other reasons as well. If the diarrhea persists, then you will want to talk with her veterinarian tomorrow. I hope this information helps!
