How much should I expect to pay for dog ear cleaning and sedation?

How much will it cost to have my miniature schnauzer sedated and ears cleaned? Thanks

This can be a very complicated answer. Typically if you already have a veterinarian established then the price may not be as high especially if they have seen your pet for the ear infection before. However typically you have to include these things in the overall price 1) Office visit/exam (ranges from $29-$75)- call first to get this information over the phone 2) Sedative - typically these range about $30-$50 depending on which sedative the doctor chooses to use 3) Ear cleaning procedure- ranges from $25-$40 depending on how bad the ears are. I hope this helps. This varies from state to state as does the cost of living expenses can vary so hopefully this gives you some ballpark numbers for overall treatment of your pets ear. Now keep in mind I did not include any medications in this estimate. Ear meds vary as well $25-$45 and ear cleaner is usually half that price. Good luck moving forward! - Dr. H
