My CAT ate a little chocolate swirl ice cream, will it hut him?

The amount of chocolate in these ice creams are pretty slim, so if he just licked a little bit he should be fine. He might throw up a little and may have some diarrhea later.

    A small amount of chocolate flavored ice cream product is unlikely to contain a significant level of the chocolate associated toxins which can cause problem in cats and dogs. Chocolate and especially dark chocolate coated products are more likely to be of concern. Monitor for any agitation, confusion, twitching or vomiting and contact an emergency clinic with the history of chocolate ingestion if any of these are noted. Milk based products containing lactose can occasionally cause transient diarrhea in cats also
