My dog ate NexGard too soon. Will she be okay after an extra dose?

My one year old boxer just ate a NexGard 5 days after her last dose. Will she be okay?

NexGard has a large margin of safety if as dog gets or eats multiple doses. Monitor for GI upset and feed a bland diet for a few days to settle the stomach. Your dog will likely suffer no ill effects.

    The good news is that Nexgard is a safe flea medication. Vomiting and diarrhea have been seen when a dog is given five times the recommended dose. If your dogs only had at most two of these dose, then you should not see any adverse effects from it :-)
