Is my 4-month-old kitten underweight at 1.3kg? What's normal?

How much should a four month old kitten weigh? We have recently adopted a long haired female kitten but she only weighs 1.3kg.

Kittens gain about 500 grams per month. So, at 4 months of age, she should be around 2kg. Feed her a good quality canned kitten food. Have her examined by your vet and submit a stool sample to rule out intestinal parasites.
