I have given my puppy advocate and drontal plus together and it justdawned on me that my vet said we shouldnt gove them together

Generally we recommend to give advocate first followed later by drontal but as a rule the two products do not have any additive effects or reactions. Non-urgent meds are usually best separated and advocate and drontal should be separated because of the flea-tapeworm lifestyle. Certain fleas contain tapeworm larvae which hatch when swallowed; once you have killed all the fleas you would then follow on with tablet to kill any tapeworms. Monitor for any strange behaviors and report to your vet with this history of it occurs within 24hrs but this is very unlikely
