May I feed the orphaned kitten some evaporated milk?

An orphaned kitten needs formula that is specific to his needs and evaporated milk is not nutritionally balanced for him. Commercial kitten formula is available at any pet store or places like Wal-Mart or you can make your own at home with some ingredients you may already have on hand. Formula #1 • 8 oz. Homogenized whole milk • 2 egg yolks • 1 teaspoon salad oil • 1 drop liquid pediatric vitamins (optional) Formula #2 • 1 part boiled water to 5 parts evaporated milk • 1/2 teaspoon bone meal per 16 oz fluid Formula #3 (do not use if diarrhea is present) • 1 can Evaporated Milk • 1 egg yolk • 2 tablespoons Karo syrup Formula #4 • You ca12oz of water • 1 envelope Knox Gelatin • 1 12oz can of whole evaporated milk (not skim) • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, not nonfat Formula #5 • 1 cup of whole milk • 1 large egg • 2 teaspoons of powdered protein • 1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast • 110 mg of powdered calcium • 1-day dose of vitamins formulated for adult cats Formula #6 • 8 ounces water (boiled then cooled) • 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatin • 8 ounces whole evaporated milk (not skim) • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (not low fat) • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt (not low fat) • 1 large or 2 small eggs yolks (raw) • 1 teaspoon clear Karo syrup • *1-3 drops liquid pet vitamins • *1 capsule acidophilus • *1 drop Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) *Optional, though very beneficial. Formula #7 • 3 oz. Condensed milk • 3 oz. Water • 4 oz. Plain yogurt (NOT low-fat) • 3 large or 4 small egg yolks Formula #8 • 4 oz. Evaporated milk • 4 oz. Water • 2 egg yolks • 1 teaspoon corn syrup (or substitute pancake syrup) • 1 capsule cod liver oil
