      We all know cats can sometimes be a little bit picky… that’s part of their charm. Petco has a list of the top 10 holiday gifts for cats that are both fun and affordable, yet also sure to have them so played out they won’t be able to resist snoozing next to you on the couch while you snuggle up to that perfect holiday movie.

      1. Snowman scratch

      There’s no way this snowman is getting a frosty reception, it’s so cute with different textures around the scratch pad that cats will love. And I especially love things that serve a dual purpose – this snowman scratch can also hang on your door handle for a fun pop of décor!

      2. Advent calendar

      Our cat advent calendars are a firm holiday favorite with cat parents, and we’ve expanded play types across our cat assortment this year! With options including different toys or treats, we’re sure to have something for every cat to enjoy.

      3. Teaser bar

      Teasers are one of the best toys for giving cats active play time, but we know every cat is a little different. In addition to ready-made teaser sets, this year we have a DIY style assortment and set up – both in stores and online – that allows you to pick and choose from individual teaser bases and multiple different attachments so you can customize a teaser for every cat on your list!

      We all like to get cozy during the holidays and cats are no exception. This season we’ve given our cat sweaters an update with new colors and festive designs, including a Christmas tree that is both fun and a little bit extra.

      Keeping cats occupied while you’re busy hosting guests or holiday baking is important for their mental and physical play. Kickers satisfy one of a cat’s basic play types and this year we’ve expanded our assortment at a great price point so cat parents can stock up!

      These are a nod to traditional holiday crackers that originated in the UK. We might have taken out the ‘snap’ but just like human crackers, they’re filled with fun festive goodies. Maybe don’t tell your cat that we have them for dogs, too!

      Mystery boxes are so popular and continue to gain popularity every year with kids. I love these, and my kids collected them last year hoping to get the golden pickle.  So adorable and fun for cats and cat parents.

      One of my personal favorites is the new cat bed which was voted on by our own Petco store teams. Snow globes are so nostalgic and magical and these comfy cat beds double as décor and a place for your cat to hide when company arrives.

      In addition to the custom teaser bar, cats also love teasers with long hanging structures and feathers to chase. These caterpillars have a foiled side and a fuzzy side, complete with fresh new colors both cats and cat parents will love.

      Finishing with a classic, this giant cat scratch house is an annual favorite. This year we included more scratch areas, cat nip and hanging toys. We also blended traditional patterns with new – so there’s something for everyone to love.
