Biography
I’m a Veterinary Technician with 10 years’ experience, currently working at Animal Medical Clinic at Sawgrass. I work exclusively with companion animals and I specialize in client education on feline and canine behavioral issues.
I have extensive knowledge in areas such as parasite prevention and control (fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites, heartworms, mites, etc.), and enjoy working on dermatology cases such as allergies, bacterial and fungal infections, ringworm, mange, etc. I also have years of experience with canine and feline dental hygiene.
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. I currently live a block away from the beach and I love it. I enjoy biking, swimming in the ocean, walking on the beach with my dogs, and looking for sharks’ teeth. I received my BA from the University of Florida in 2001 and taught English as a second language for five years at UF. Helping animals is my passion and I like my pets in pairs: I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 frogs and 2 turtles.
